AN INTRODUCTION TO COLLETTE:
Collette moved to the Hemet valley in 1986 from the Bay Area. She had been with Pacific Telephone for 15 years as a customer service representative but upon moving to an area that Pac Bell didn't cover, decided to try something new for a change. She obtained her license in no time and after interviewing a number of companies, decided to work for Brubaker & Culton Real Estate & Development because they had always been and still are to this day the #1 office in listing and sales in the Hemet valley. That on top of a very positive can do atmosphere that permeates the office convinced her that this was where she best fit in. And she must have made the right decision because next year she will have been there 20 years.
It took her just a year or two to get the hang of things and from that time on, year in and year out she's been consistently one of the most productive agents in the valley, winning numerous awards for top listings and sales year after year.
With 20 years of experience under her belt, there's hardly a problem that can arise that she hasn't had to tackle before. INTRODUCING A NEW PROGRAM!
FREE PET WITH PURCHASE
Brubaker-Culton Real Estate & Development, a southern California sales firm, announced that it will begin a new community service campaign starting this month to share the joys of pet ownership and help find new homes for lost and abandoned animals.
Brubaker Culton in association with the Ramona Humane Society, will give each family that buys or sells a home through the firm a voucher good for the adoption of the animal of their choice at the RHS shelter; or, if they already have a pet that needs to be spayed or neutered, the voucher can be used for that instead.
Collette recently lost two Yorkshire Terriers just before Halloween, 2005. In hopes of finding them she made several trips a day to the RHS shelter. Collette couldn't help to notice so many dogs and cats with sweet dispositions, confused about their circumstances, peering from cages and hoping to see their owner or a new family that will love them.
Collette never did find her lost dogs but adopted a senior citizen that had come in as a stray and vowed to think of a way to alleviate the dire problem of thousands of animals each year in her community that face euthanasia if not claimed. She took the idea to her broker of how that company could not only help the specific animals, but also implement a community awareness program about the ongoing problem of lost and abandoned animals.
Many of the agents at Brubaker-Culton feel that a house isn't a home without a pet or two. As a thank you to our clients that allow us to help them with their real estate needs we would love to make their homecoming at the end of a long workday more enjoyable with a wag of a happy tail or a soft cuddly purr. A family visit to the RHS shelter can be a very rewarding experience.
